PA GUILD OF CRAFTSMAN is offering workshops by Ivetta Moore.
 2 sessions.
Saturday, October 13 th ( 1:00 to 4:00) and Wednesday evening, October 17th ( 6:30 to 8:30)
Workshop Fee: $30.00 member/ $35.00 Non-member;
Material Fee: $75.00 payable to the instructor.
Students will make one art piece of their choice from 3 sample designs. The design will be made from real, pressed flowers, with students assembling petals and leaves into 2 dimensional works of art. This time it will be a wreath. Use your imagination on colors and background.
At the completion of the class, you will have a FRAMED picture to hang in your home or use as a gift for a special friend.

Ivetta Moore offers an introductory class to anyone who is interested in this fascinating art technique. Full courses, from introductory to advanced, are also offered.
The courses are comprised of a series of classes in which you will develop the special skills and techniques of pressed floral art, starting from preserving the flowers to creating the final artworks. With practice and dedication you will master the techniques of pressed floral art, and with your new skills delight yourself with your own creativity. Who knows,
you may become the next professional floral artist!
Many people have had experiences pressing flowers, but Ivett's lectures go beyond 'flat smash pressed methods' to teach the techniques used to fast-dry flowers (to keep the color pigments as they were when fresh), to design an artwork, and to retain the flowers freshness while assembling the flower petals into three-dimensional works of art.
Whether for beginning enthusiasts or professional floral artists, the process of pressed floral art is an extraordinary skill that can be enjoyed by all. Ivetta Moore will specially guide you, as she unveils the mysteries of pressed floral art by sharing her expertise in floral arrangement, special techniques, color schema and much more.

COURSE OUTLINES:
Beginner Course
This introductory course focuses on the basic pressed flower design process, and construction of floral objects including Greeting Cards, Bookmarks and design of Seasonal Flowers using a Rectangular Frame.
Intermediate Course
This course covers three different designs using 8 x 10 Rectangular Frames: Make a botanical picture, Make an L shape design, Make a small bouquet.
Advanced Course
This advanced course provides a hands-on experience in finalizing three different artistic products: Make a landscape; make a still life picture, Shapes.
