About Artist

As a child living in Russia, Ivetta enjoyed growing flowers outside her apartment window. Flowers have always been her passion and naturally led her to study at the Technical Institute of Agriculture. After graduating in 1992 with a major in flower design and arrangement, she moved to the United States, Married and now has two young sons.
Ivetta lives with her family in the country, which allows her to enjoy a garden full of flowers providing a plentiful supply to preserve. Using these flowers, Ivetta designs award-winning pieces of art. She has been entering her work, for the past three years, in competitions sponsored by the World Wide pressed flower guild and Philadelphia flower show.

Her talent caught the attention of Home and Garden television and in the fall of 2005 and spring of 2006, Ivetta was featured on the show, "That's Clever".

In 2006, the World Wide Pressed Flower Guild recognized Ivetta with the "People’s Choice Award".

In 2007 Ivetta was recognized in Philadelphia flower show and won a second place for one of her works.

In June 2007 World Wide Pressed flower Guild gave Ivetta 3rd place for one of the works she entered in competition and last and not least she won 1st place for another work of art and "Best of Show".

Broadening her scope as a professional artist, Ivetta continues to study with renowned experts in her field. As an instructor herself, Ivetta enjoys sharing her experience and knowledge, exploring the possibilities with others.

Ivetta is a juried member of the York Town Craft Guild. She is also a member of the Pennsylvania Guild of Craftsmen, the World Wide Pressed Flower Guild and International Pressed Flower Society and is also listed in the World Artist Directory.
